Hello from Florida's space coast, home to NASA's Kennedy Space Center, or KSC as the locals call it.

My name is Luke, and it would be a privilege to serve as your professional tour guide for your visit to Kennedy Space Center.
I grew up on the space coast during the 1960's and 70's, during the height of the space race. My interest in space exploration was forged in May of 1973, when my dad arranged for me to tag along on a VIP tour of Kennedy Space Center he had arranged for his business clients. During that tour, I was able to go to the top of the huge Vehicle Assembly Building, visit the launch pads where the Saturn 5 rocket stood with Skylab space station and the Saturn 1B rocket that would carry the first crew to station. The visit was topped off to a visit to Launch Control. The NASA tour guide then gave me a box of space books and pictures, and I was hooked.
My interest in spaceflight continued through the 1970's and 80's, when NASA was developing the Space Shuttle.
