Pursuing these interests, I studied Art History and Archaeology for more than fifteen years, obtaining multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York.
For several years, I researched and taught Art History at the university level in the NYC area (Columbia, NYU, Rutgers). Then, after 10 wonderful years in the USA, I returned to my hometown of Brussels and decided to become a professional tour guide.
As an educator with more than 10 years of experience, transmitting and sharing knowledge is what I live for. But I wanted to find a way to bring my passion for teaching outside of the classroom, to reach a more diverse public.
Guiding was the answer! Drawing upon my teaching skills, the deep love I have for my home country, and my expertise as an art historian and archaeologist, I am now proud to offer an alternative to the traditional sightseeing tour.
