Eliane, a former business management & real estate law graduate, developed her passion for food and cooking at a very young age.

11 years ago she made a career change to pursue her passion for cooking. She attended professional culinary training in New York (ProChef training at the Culinary Institute of America) and Europe.

Eliane worked as catering head-chef for an exclusive catering company overseas. In October 2010, she also co-catered an official 450 - guests reception in honor of the Dutch Royal family and Government officials. The reception was held at the Governor's Palace during the official visit of Prince Willem -Alexander and Princess Maxima to the island of Curacao, Netherlands-Antilles.

Upon her return to Europe in 2010, she acquired additional experience by working under great chefs in various restaurants in France and the UK before settling down in the South of France.

She has not regretted her career change decision as she has flourished as a restaurant, catering-and personal chef. Her innovative ideas and passion for her profession has pleased both corporate -and private clients alike. Eliane is multilingual and a seasoned traveler who traveled around the world learning and savouring the different cuisines. She also worked as personal chef in Monaco, Cote d'Azur and on private mega-yachts in the Mediterranean. Although she is specialized in French and Mediterranean cuisine, she also offers a large selection of international dishes.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All classes are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Cooking Classes at La Serviette Blanche reserves the right to cancel or change any confirmed class. If class has 2 or less people, the class may be cancelled. In this case, the client will be refunded in full for the costs of the services paid.

Cooking classes and Pop-Up restaurant/Supper Club dinners are very popular and in great demand. In order to avoid any disappointments, we advise you to book early.

Full payment for all culinary tours are due upon reservation. You will receive confirmation as soon as full payment has been received. If for whatever reason you are not able to attend your booked class, we kindly request you to send your cancellation by email to

We cannot except any cancellations by phone. If your cancellation notice is received twenty one (21) days prior to your confirmed culinary tour /cooking class or gourmet picnic, your payment will be refunded minus 10% administration & booking fees. If your culinary activity falls within the twenty one (21) days of the confirmed booking, the payment is non-refundable.

La Serviette Blanche's Private cooking classes are held in the kitchen of a private apartment in Cannes.

La Serviette Blanche cannot be held responsible for costs or other liabilities associated with any act of terrorism, war, accident, weather or any act of God.

By attending one of La Serviette Blanche's culinary activities, the client accepts these terms and the conditions of the program cancellation penalties.
